Brad graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and emphasis on structural design. He was licensed by the state of Kansas in 2012 as a Professional Engineer (PE) and holds licenses in various states throughout the country. He began his career with BlueScope Buildings, North America as a project designer and eventually a lead engineer, managing projects ranging from $250k - $25M contracts. As of 2024, he has 17 years of structural engineering design experience with a wide range of project types. Some examples include 1.5M sq. ft. distribution center, pharmaceutical development facilities, college rec centers, and multi-story office and retail buildings. He is married with two kids and lives in the St. Louis, MO metro area. With a background in construction from a young age, in his time off he enjoys residential remodeling, woodworking, and finding new ways to make a mess around the house.
